LED Screen Rental
You are organising an event. The stage is ready, the sound system is set, the programme is confirmed. What is left is the visual impact every guest can see and feel. That is where professional LED screen rental comes in.
From concerts to corporate summits, from trade show booths to outdoor organisations, LED screens have become the visual backbone of events at every scale. They are no longer a luxury, they are the standard.
What Is LED Screen Rental?
LED screen rental means sourcing a screen sized and configured to your exact needs for the duration of an event, complete with installation, technical support and teardown. Renting rather than buying is far more sensible in both cost and logistics for one-off or occasional events.
A professional service does not just deliver a screen. The installation crew, the technical operator and on-site support throughout the event are part of the package. Whether the event is in a sports arena, on a ship or outdoors, the setup is adapted to the situation.
Which Events Is It Suited To?
The visual setup is built very differently depending on the type of event:
- Corporate events. Showing presentation content and live control-room footage on a large screen at product launches, company meetings and press conferences directly strengthens how professional the event reads.
- Concerts and stage performances. Large upstage screens build the visual bridge between performer and audience, and are essential for letting everyone in a crowd of thousands see the stage clearly.
- Trade shows and expos. High-resolution LED is the most effective way to stand out in a crowded hall. Product videos and live demonstrations play back cleanly.
- Outdoor organisations. In city squares, stadiums and festivals, outdoor panels stay sharp and vivid even in direct daylight.
- Sports events. Used for scoreboards, live statistics and slow-motion replays.
Types of LED Screen: Which One Fits Your Event?
Not every venue takes the same screen technology. In practical terms the three main types differ like this:
| Type | Where it is used | Strength | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Indoor | Ballrooms, convention centres, studios, exhibition stands | Fine pixel pitch, crisp and cinematic at close viewing distances | Not bright enough for areas in direct sunlight |
| Outdoor | Squares, stadiums, festival grounds, open-air stages | High brightness readable in daylight, water and dust resistant (IP65) | Heavier; wind load and rigging must be calculated in advance |
| Modular | Custom stage designs, curved or cornered configurations | Built from panels, so it scales to any size or shape | Design and build time is longer than a standard setup |
How to Choose the Right Screen
Two technical values drive the decision: pixel pitch and brightness. Both depend on the venue and on viewing distance.
| Criterion | Indoor | Outdoor |
|---|---|---|
| Pixel pitch | P2 to P3 | P4 to P6 |
| Brightness | 800 to 1500 nits | 5000 nits and above |
| Deciding condition | Audience close to the screen, ambient light controlled | Audience further away, direct sunlight present |
A practical rule: the widely used rough guide is that pixel pitch in millimetres corresponds to the minimum comfortable viewing distance in metres. A P3 screen looks smooth from about three metres out; closer than that and the pixels start to separate. This is why you need to know how far the front row will sit from the screen before choosing anything.
On the installation side, three things have to be planned in advance: the supporting truss or ground-based structure, the power supply, and the technical operator who will run content playback. LED screens are heavy systems, and the rigging plan is not something left to the event day.

What Determines LED Screen Rental Prices?
Pricing is calculated around the technical needs of the project. Five items drive it:
- Screen size and resolution. Budget shifts as square metres and pixel density increase.
- Duration of use. A single-day launch and a week-long trade show are calculated differently.
- Installation complexity. A standard ground-supported setup versus a custom truss system rigged from the ceiling.
- Logistics and crew. Getting the equipment to the venue, and how many technical crew are on site.
- Additional services. Requests such as a control room, live streaming integration or content design.
When you take a quote, confirm whether each of these is included. Nearly every surprise cost that appears later comes from one of these five being left outside the quote.

Why Work With a Professional Team?
LED screen installation takes technical knowledge, experience and the right equipment. A bad install risks both the visual quality and the safety of the event, and a technical failure on the day cannot be undone.
With more than ten years of experience we have built visual infrastructure for hundreds of corporate events, concerts, trade shows and outdoor organisations. We run the whole process in-house, from the initial survey through installation and on-site support to teardown.
If your event also needs sound, recording or a broadcast alongside the screen, all of it can come from the same team: see sound system rental, live streaming, event management and camera rental. Working with one technical team makes it unambiguous who is responsible on the day.
